Scope and contact
This policy covers Astral Falling Block, also called Astral Block in the game, provided by Hwanish Games for iPhone, iPad and Android. For privacy questions or requests, contact myowngroove@gmail.com.
Game data on your device
No account is required. Game rules, the computer opponent and bonus races run locally. Completed stages, saved battles, race opportunities, crystals, unlocked themes, combo records and audio/haptic settings are stored on your device.
Hwanish Games does not operate a campaign-save server or internet matchmaking service. Beginning with iOS version 1.2.2, Firebase provides usage analytics and crash diagnostics as described below. Campaign saves are not uploaded to us or supplied as advertising targeting data. Spoken announcements use on-device audio or an installed offline voice; the game does not record microphone audio.
Advertising, Firebase, Unity and Liftoff services
The app integrates Google AdMob for top banners and optional rewarded ads, and Google User Messaging Platform for applicable advertising privacy choices. Google may collect and share an IP address and approximate location, device or other identifiers, ad views and interactions, other app interactions, crash logs and performance diagnostics for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention and service security. Advertising traffic is encrypted in transit. See Google’s Android SDK data disclosure, iOS SDK disclosure and Google Privacy Policy.
Beginning with iOS version 1.2.2, the app includes Unity Ads through AdMob mediation for the same banner and optional rewarded placements. Unity may process device/app information, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostics for ad delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention. See the Unity Privacy Policy. Unity advertising remains subject to applicable consent and restricted-data settings.
Beginning with iOS version 1.2.3, Liftoff Monetize (Vungle) is included through AdMob mediation for the same top banner and optional rewarded placements. Liftoff may process IP-derived approximate location, device/app information, ad interactions and performance data for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. The app disables publishing IDFV to Liftoff and explicitly opts out of personalized advertising and sale/sharing through the SDK privacy controls before mediation starts. It does not supply a player ID or alternative advertising identifiers. See the Liftoff Privacy Policy.
The iOS app also includes Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. These services may process an app-instance identifier, basic device/app information, session and stage/race activity, ad reward results, crash stack traces and performance diagnostics to understand usage and fix errors. No campaign save, nearby player name, email address or user account identifier is supplied to these services by the game. Analytics advertising identity support and IDFV collection are disabled; advertising storage, user-data and personalization consent are denied. Collection starts only when the regional consent state permits it and Usage & Crash Reports is enabled. You can turn it off in Settings & Support. See Firebase Privacy and Security.
The app requests non-personalized ads and disables publisher first-party ID and publisher privacy personalization. The iOS app does not request App Tracking Transparency access to IDFA and also enables restricted data processing. Android includes the advertising ID permission for the Google advertising SDK. These controls do not prevent all SDK data collection or sharing.
The initial Android 1.2.0 closed-test build uses Google test ads and shows a test-mode explanation in Ad Privacy Choices. This is not a claim that the SDK processes no data. Production builds use applicable Google privacy forms. Google Play may process its own account and device data when you install the app or use its native review prompt; Hwanish Games does not receive Google sign-in credentials from these flows.
Rewarded ads appear only after you choose Watch Ad. In version 1.2.0, completion adds one crystal, limited to three rewarded-ad grants per 24 hours across Recharge and races. New rewards stop at 100 crystals; older higher balances are kept. Earlier releases used different crystal rewards. No extra ad reward is granted without the completion callback. There are no interstitial ads, in-app purchases or subscriptions. Gameplay works offline when ads are unavailable.
Nearby matches and permissions
Nearby VS is optional. Devices exchange a temporary game name and match data, such as board state, attacks and match events, with the selected nearby opponent. There is no chat, player profile or user-uploaded content.
Android uses Google Nearby Connections over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Both players confirm a matching authentication code before gameplay data is exchanged over the encrypted connection. Android matches support other Android devices running a compatible build. The current iOS version uses Apple Multipeer Connectivity; iOS and Android versions do not currently connect to each other.
Android requests Bluetooth/nearby-device and nearby Wi-Fi permissions only when starting Nearby VS, where required by the operating system. Android 12 and earlier may also require location permission and enabled location services for nearby discovery. The game does not request geographic coordinates or send precise location to Hwanish Games. You can deny or revoke these permissions and continue playing the campaign. The iOS nearby feature may request local-network access. The game does not request contacts, camera, microphone or health access.
Google’s Nearby SDK collects connection performance measurements and device information such as model, country, build version and app package to improve the service. Google describes controls under Android Settings → Google → Usage & diagnostics in its Nearby documentation.
Your choices and deletion
Google Analytics also uses masked IP addresses to derive a general region. It does not use location services or collect GPS coordinates.
On iOS 1.2.2 and later, Settings & Support → Usage & Crash Reports turns Firebase usage and crash reporting off or on without changing game saves or controls. Turning it on does not override applicable regional consent choices. Turning it off stops collection and removes unsent crash reports on this device; reports already received by the providers follow their retention policies.
Open Settings & Support → Ad Privacy Choices to revisit available regional advertising options. If no form is required or test ads are enabled, the app displays an explanation. Android system privacy settings provide advertising ID and app permission controls. Google’s policies explain its own retention and data controls.
Local game data remains until you clear it or remove the app. On Android, Clear storage in app settings or uninstalling removes local app data; the app disables Android backup and supplies no cloud save. On iOS, deleting the app removes its local data while offloading may preserve it; operating-system backup and restore follow your device settings. Hwanish Games cannot remotely view, erase or recover local saves.
