Astral Dots Privacy Policy

How your game stays on your device and how advertising works.

Last updated: October 7, 2026 · App support

Scope and contact

This policy covers the Astral Dots game for iOS and Android provided by Hwanish Games. For privacy questions, contact myowngroove@gmail.com.

Game data on your device

No account is required. Game rules and the computer opponent run locally. The app stores the current board, moves, stage progress, completed-game count, advertising cooldown, review-prompt history and sound, music, haptic and motion preferences on your device.

Saved boards and campaign progress are not uploaded to us or provided as ad-targeting information. Bluetooth VS connects nearby devices directly; match moves are exchanged with the other player to keep the boards synchronized. The app does not upload nearby-player identifiers or match contents to Firebase. Stages 51–100 remain Coming Soon.

Advertising

iOS builds with Meta Audience Network include Meta as an additional advertising provider through AdMob mediation. When enabled for an ad placement, Meta may process device and app information, IP address, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency authorization and sets the available advertiser-tracking flag to off. It enables Meta Limited Data Use for applicable US locations. See Meta’s Privacy Policy. Including the SDK does not mean that Meta ads are available in every build or region.

iOS builds with Unity Ads use Unity as an additional advertising provider through AdMob mediation. Unity may process device and app information, IP address, approximate location, advertising interactions and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. The app sends Unity an opt-out of sale/sharing and forwards available regional consent signals through the mediation adapter. See Unity’s Privacy Policy. Older builds and Android builds may have different installed advertising providers.

Astral Dots uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform for banner ads, optional rewarded ads, interstitial ads between games, and privacy choices. Google may process IP address and approximate location, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, other product interactions, crash diagnostics and performance data for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security and service operation. Ad SDK data is encrypted in transit using TLS. See Google’s iOS data disclosure Google’s Android data disclosure, and Google Privacy Policy.

The app requests non-personalized ads. On iOS, it disables Google’s publisher first-party ID and publisher privacy personalization, enables restricted data processing, and does not request IDFA access through App Tracking Transparency. On Android, Google’s advertising SDK may use the Android advertising ID and other device or app identifiers. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings; this does not stop all SDK data collection. These choices do not prevent all ad-related processing. The app does not request precise location, contacts, camera, microphone or health access.

You may choose a rewarded ad to undo your last move and the computer response. Undo is granted only after the ad reward callback; canceled or unavailable ads do not grant Undo. Interstitials may appear after every third completed game starting with game six, when leaving the result screen. The first three games have no interstitials. Interstitials are separated from any full-screen ad by at least five minutes, with a two-minute initial session grace period. An unavailable ad is skipped. Core gameplay works offline. Reward callbacks are used locally without an account identifier.

Optional usage and diagnostics

iOS builds with Settings → Usage & diagnostics use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics only when you enable this option. It is off by default. This optional collection helps us understand app use and investigate errors: app launches, stage starts and results, How to Play use, device and app information, installation identifiers and crash reports. No account name, board contents or nearby-player identifier is attached to these events.

Analytics advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization are disabled. Turning the option off stops future optional collection and deletes crash reports still waiting on the device; it does not automatically erase reports already sent. See Firebase privacy information and Google’s Privacy Policy for service processing and retention.

Your choices

Regional privacy choices may appear according to Google’s configuration. Open Settings → Ad privacy choices to revisit available options. If no form is required, the app explains this. Contact support to report an inappropriate ad. Google’s policy describes its retention and controls. The app has no purchases or subscriptions.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains until it is deleted. On Android, clear the app’s storage or uninstall it to delete local game data; Android app backup is disabled. On iOS, deleting the app removes local app data, while offloading may preserve it and backups follow your iOS settings. There is no account-based game synchronization. Advertising data processed by Google follows Google’s retention and deletion policies and is not erased by clearing your local board.
