Scope and contact
This policy covers Frank’s Water Trouble (Pipe Puzzle: Fix Water Trouble) for iOS and Android, provided by Hwanish Games. For privacy questions, contact myowngroove@gmail.com.
Local game data
No account is required. The app stores stage stars, progress, sound preferences, and a local completed-round count for a one-time store review request on your device. Puzzles, character animation, and recorded character voices work offline. Hwanish Games does not upload your saved progress. In current versions, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics collect app diagnostics separately from that local progress.
Advertising
The app uses Google AdMob, Google’s User Messaging Platform and Unity Ads through AdMob mediation. A compact banner can appear at the top of the stage selection and gameplay screens. Banners are hidden on the publisher title and main menu. You can choose to watch a rewarded video to reveal the complete water route and next-move arrows for the current stage. Closing a video before its reward is earned does not grant a hint. There are no automatic interstitial or app-open ads.
Google and Unity may process IP addresses and approximate location, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, product interactions, crash diagnostics, and performance data for advertising, measurement, and service operation. See Unity’s Privacy Policy and Google’s SDK data disclosure, Google’s Privacy Policy, and information about partner apps.
The Android closed-test version uses Google demo banner and rewarded ad units. Unity mediation is used on iOS; it is not enabled in the first Android closed-test build. Android advertising SDKs may process approximate location inferred from IP address, app interactions, diagnostics and non-advertising installation identifiers. From Android build 2, advertising ID permission is removed, Analytics advertising ID and advertising signals collection are disabled, and all ad requests use child-directed treatment with a general-audience (G) content limit. Android consent requests are tagged as under the age of consent. These restrictions apply to every player; the app does not ask children for identifying information. The app requests non-personalized ads, uses iOS privacy settings that disable Google’s publisher first-party ID and privacy personalization setting, and does not request iOS IDFA permission through App Tracking Transparency. These choices do not stop all advertising-related processing. Core gameplay remains available offline or when an ad cannot load. Video hints require a network connection and an available rewarded ad.
Privacy choices and permissions
Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are enabled by default. They process app and device identifiers, app and device details, network information such as IP address, usage events, stage numbers, moves and stars, advertising request/load/impression/reward events, and crash diagnostics to improve game quality and diagnose errors. We do not send your name, account, voice recordings or puzzle contents. These diagnostics are not used for advertising personalization.
Open How to save Frank? → Diagnostics to turn diagnostics off or on. Disabling diagnostics stops future Analytics and Crashlytics collection. Previously sent information may remain with Firebase according to its retention settings. See Firebase privacy information.
Google’s privacy message may appear according to your region and configuration. When additional privacy options are available, use Ad privacy on the main menu to revisit them. The app does not request precise location, contacts, microphone, camera, or health permissions.
Frank’s character voice is AI-generated and bundled with the app. Your voice and gameplay are not sent to OpenAI, and playing the game does not call an AI service.
Retention and support
Local progress remains until the app’s local data is removed. Deleting the app removes local data; offloading may preserve it. Device backup and restore depend on your platform settings. Android backups are disabled for this app. There is no account-based synchronization, in-app purchase, or subscription in this version.
If you email support, we receive your email address and any details you include to respond. Correspondence is kept as needed for the request and related follow-up. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of support correspondence. We cannot remotely view, erase, or restore local game progress.
