BodyMind is provided by Hwanish Games. Contact myowngroove@gmail.com about privacy or support. You do not need to send identity documents or complete health files to request help.
Your journal and health information
The app stores your dates and times, mood, physical condition, energy, stress, sleep, tags and notes in local app storage. Optional health imports add daily steps, sleep, exercise and weight summaries, their dates, source and import information. These records support journal views, charts and prepared lifestyle and music suggestions. The app does not provide an account, developer-operated record server or automatic cloud record synchronization.
With your permission, BodyMind reads available Health Connect data for recent daily summaries when you start an import and keep the app open. It reads only permitted types, does not change the source data and does not run background health imports. Manual entries work without health permission. Your selection of an Apple Health ZIP/XML or BodyMind backup file allows the app to process that file on your device; the original file is not uploaded by BodyMind.
Journal entries, notes, health values and recommended song content are not sent to advertising services or used for advertising personalization. No external AI service receives them.
Advertising and privacy choices
Ad-supported versions use Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. Google may process IP-derived general location, device identifiers, ad or app interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and security. The Android advertising ID permission is present; the app does not request precise location permission.
BodyMind requests non-personalized ads and disables Google's publisher first-party ID and publisher privacy personalization setting before requesting ads. Advertising still involves data processing. Ad initialization and requests depend on the consent-management result. Available regional choices appear through Ad privacy in Settings when Google requires that entry point.
Google describes its processing in its Privacy Policy, partner information and Android advertising SDK disclosure. Ads may appear at completed-entry and music-copy boundaries with frequency limits. Records remain usable if an ad is unavailable.
Exports, clipboard and external services
- A journal summary is copied only when you request it and may include the selected note. You choose where to paste it.
- Music lists and music CSV files contain song information and search links, not journal or health values.
- A full JSON backup contains journal records and health summaries. The app does not add encryption to that file. You choose the destination using Android's file controls; selecting a cloud provider or sharing the file makes that provider's or recipient's practices relevant.
- Apple Music, TuneMyMusic and other external links open outside the app. Music search links use song information without adding your health values or notes. External services may receive normal browser and network information and apply their own policies.
BodyMind is not operated or endorsed by Apple, Google or TuneMyMusic.
Storage protection
Records use Android's protected app storage. Before Health Connect imports, the app checks Android's reported storage encryption state and stops the import if a supported encrypted state cannot be confirmed. This relies on operating-system protection; it is not a separate encrypted database or app-lock feature.
The app disables automatic Android backup and declares exclusions for cloud backup and device-to-device transfer. Device behavior depends on Android and the manufacturer. Files you intentionally export are outside these exclusions. Keep your device and exported files secure.
Retention and deletion
Records remain locally until you delete them, clear app data or uninstall. You can delete individual journal entries, or use Settings → Delete all records on this device to remove journal entries and imported health summaries. We cannot remotely retrieve, restore or erase records held only on your device.
You may revoke Health Connect permissions in system settings. Revocation does not erase already imported summaries; delete those in BodyMind. Deleting BodyMind records does not delete Health Connect source data, exported files, clipboard content or copies given to another service. Manage those separately. Google controls its advertising data retention and user controls as described in its policies.
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send to respond to your request. We retain correspondence as needed to handle the request and related follow-up, subject to applicable requirements. Contact the support address for requests relating to that correspondence.
Changes and health notice
We will update this policy and its date when information handling changes, and request additional choices or permissions where needed. BodyMind is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
